I didn't know that fourth year was coming.
They were just going to be a year behind.
But, you know, I mean, for all the conversation we had over the past couple years about the Royals getting screwed out of the lottery...
They caught a break this year.
And you've got to take advantage.
If it screws you in the one year, you've got to really take advantage of the year.

I think where the Royals were on this...
is feeling like those top four were the top four, and then feeling like there wasn't a whole bunch of separation between several players who followed.
And that is, I think, a little bit of the difference between the NFL and baseballs to where in the NFL, if we're talking about that, I mean, the Chiefs encountered that same situation where they felt like the cutoff was six players, and maybe they felt like the cutoff was five, but at least, at most, they felt like it was six.
But if you're talking about that next wave, it doesn't go all the way to 30.
You know, it's not like they felt like seven through 30 were identical.
It might've just been like seven through 12.
weren't that different.
And baseball, it can be a larger group.
It's not that uncommon because this guy's got questions because it's the high school pitcher route.
Or this guy, I mean, Rose has questions because of the exact numbers that he put up, and he put up six home runs last year.
I mean, there's more questions, I think, about baseball prospects than there are NFL prospects because of the path that they're required to take.
