I remember the Sullivans, but I can't remember the... Look, I know everyone listening to this is completely conversant with the entire Sullivan era, but Kitty actually runs away with me to Sydney.

Look, I could have had a completely different career, I think, if I'd actually done what Australian actors or New Zealand actors do now.

They go straight to Hollywood.

And what was the pathway in those days?

There wasn't really a pathway.

Mel went to L.A.

about the same time as I went to Europe, for instance.

But that was very exceptional.
