take a just a narrow view of the electricity bill during that process, you will see some increases that networks comes on in the shorter term.
Now, we still think that even the dual fuel electricity and gas bill over to twenty thirty, if you assume you have a normal end to the Iran crisis, we think you start to see the savings on electricity and gas during that period.
And we see that as going down slightly in real terms.
So if you look at them in isolation, one story, but then when you start to see the bigger picture on petrol, which should be part of that story.
As a consumer, I have a set of outgoings on electricity, gas, petrol.
I'm not sure why they shouldn't be viewed in one cumulative way.
I think it's quite an interesting and the right way of thinking about energy full stop.
So hopefully we're changing the debate on that a bit, but I think we've got a long way to go.
Yeah, right.
We really broke this one down in a report 'cause we thought this is a really interesting point.
There's lots a lot of sort of mistruths around this part of it.

Now seventy percent of that is inflation and commodity prices.
If we break that down into pounds, over three hundred and fifty pounds of that is just inflation.
That's your kind of cost.
of a pint of milk place piece coming into it.
There's then about just under 300 pounds of it is just the commodity cost, which is your cost, your wholesale cost of gas and electricity.
So that's the bulk of it.
You get a lot of noise out there around how much of it is networks.
The networks, electricity networks increase over that period has been under 100 pounds, which is similar to the costs of retail and bad debt increases.
