And the relentlessness of, like, trying to beat a world-class batter on the inside and the outside, and he's set him up, and he's hitting that handkerchief, then he throws one fuller, and, you know, it just defeats Root through a surprise ball because it's not in that hanky, you know, and he's just set him up.

It decks enough inside, and it's ending up just hitting the top of the stumps, right?

and a great moment where Joe Root thinks he's absolutely salmon, and he reviews it with one second left because he's like, well, we've got three left, and I'm the best batter, so I might as well.

And then he's fucking incandescent with rage when it's just kissing the top of the stump.

So I don't know what any of it means, though, of course, what it does mean is that Australia are cheating with the technology again, as is our birthright.

But, like, just enjoying Scott Boland doing that.

I know he's got a great record of the SCG in the two other games that he's played before this one, but...

That was – like, today was great because I've watched a brilliant, proper batsman score 100, and I've watched bowlers fucking toil away and nail skills consistently.

And that, for me, is test cricket, and I've enjoyed that.
