But risking it all or giving up or making it really speculative, I think that's dangerous.
And I think that's us not wanting to have the patience to do what we're going to need to do later on in life anyway.
And now...
for younger people too, and anyone, you spend enough time on YouTube or Instagram and you'll start believing that it's common that many people are driving a Lambo in Dubai while making millions from trading or whatever it is.
And they're probably not.
But actually, that's not fair because maybe they are.
Maybe some people are.
But one thing I've come to learn is that often you see the exceptions, not the rule.
because it's not for me to say that it can't be done.
So yes, some people do make good money out of
day trading and out of investing and out of foreign currency shit, out of e-commerce, out of insert, whatever it is, out of building an accounting practice, out of being a football star, maybe even flipping cars, flipping watches, flipping stuff.
But if you can find
The difference between what the market is and what it's willing to pay, yes, you can make money in a lot of things.
I'm just looking at a toaster, for instance, and we purchased that.
And I don't know what that cost to make, but we paid whatever we paid for it.
And some have made some money in the middle of the year because that toaster adds a lot of value to my life every morning.
That's what's happening.
We've got to be – but do I want to go and try and sell 10,000 toasters?
Not really.
And why is that not something people try and do?
