But it goes back to the fact that they stayed in it and they did a lot of work in those early years.

Like, nah, not really going to crank.
I've now interviewed hundreds of successful people and I get to advise and work alongside plenty of happy business owners across New Zealand.
And one thing that I've spotted is the pattern is often pretty boring.
Almost every one of them eventually picked one thing and stayed with it for years.
So with that said, some advice, take it or leave it.
Pick your poison.
I'm all for trying shit.
I'm not saying don't try things, but...
Except you're probably going to have to do something and master something for some time and not just dip in, have a quick win and then bounce.
Some of these people built businesses.
Some invested in property.
Some flipped property.
Some chased their dreams.
Some became exceptional in their careers.
Some took stock in their employers and shares in their employer and stayed there for years.
Some invested consistently into exchange traded funds that ignored all of the picking stocks and the day trading and any of that noise and the market might crash and they just don't watch any of that shit and just pump their cash into exchange traded funds and go, yeah, it was pretty simple.
You go, whoa, because it is simple with hindsight.
The hard bit is the psychology of not being a human and doing all the weird shit in the middle.
