Do you really want to do this for a long period of time?

I can think for a lot of us, we don't want to do shit for too long.

And I kind of get it, but at the same time, there's just strong themes from so many people of things taking time to happen.

Even people like bouncing between jobs, but the same sorts of jobs, and then going, oh, I'm not really progressing much in my career because

you kind of think, okay, well, yeah, you're going to get exposure to different industries and different people and that.

But maybe the reward came from building relationships or being in the vehicle, i.e.

one of those companies that you were working for that had the most growth potential.

Same role and same job.

Life looks pretty similar.

Salary is relatively similar.

One of the vehicles, one of the companies, one of the businesses had more upside.

But

we've got shiny object, let's go somewhere else.

Instead, one with less upside.

And now we don't get the opportunities that could have come if we stuck with it for longer.

So I think this can play out.

in all areas and you've got to really look at what's going to have longevity and what you're going to enjoy doing as well.

So if the answer is genuinely yes that you want to stick with something for 10 years, you've probably found something worth having a crack at.
