I'm one of these fans that would go to a WWE show when CM Punk wasn't working in WWE and sit in Madison Square Garden and chant CM Punk when he wasn't coming out.
And now that he actually is coming out, I'm going, how dare you chant CM Punk's name?
The tribal chief is in the ring.
I love to hear it.
Right.
No words.
Right.
I mean, even Punk coming out with that fist taped up.
I mean, there's something very old school about Punk coming out.
He called himself middle-aged and crazy last week like Terry Funk.
And I get it, and I get all the emotion, and I get all the fun that everybody's having.
I get why you would be flip-flopping.
I think a lot of people are flip-flopping because, honestly, just listening to the sounds, it's the same people that are cheering for Roman Reigns that are chanting CM Punk.
Of course.
It's just the building does what the building does because you've got two of the most popular superstars of the modern era.
Absolutely, and they've made a career of making us feel.
That's why it feels different when those two are in the ring versus everything else on the show, even on a show as loaded as Monday Night Raw was tonight.
But I think that I came to this realization
Where I go, no, no, no, no, no.
This is where I land, regardless of how long I spent as a CM Punk fan.
