And whilst they've come out and denied that they're interested,

or a waffle that is you definitely are interested is quite good is Max Verstappen and you definitely would take him if the option was there but it does feel like the stream has gone quite cold between Mercedes and Verstappen and I still think the odds are higher that Verstappen walks away from the sport then joins Mercedes so

As it stands, I'm not sure who an immediate replacement would be for George Russell if he were to, I think he'd have to be removed from the team rather than him choose to leave.

So you won't, in my opinion, and therefore it will stay the same.

Completely stand by what I said.

I do think that they had to really jump in on the fact that he was miserable.

He didn't enjoy the direction Red Bull were going in.

The car was really poor.

And we knew that Russell was already starting to struggle at that point.

He already hadn't been beating Antonelli regularly.

They were a very close match.

And it's only Antonelli's second season.

So the fact they were already such a close match was slightly worrying already signs for Russell.

But I do think they had to get that job done in basically that weird spring break that we had or the couple of races immediately after to maximise the possible move for Max and the replacement of George.

And that hasn't happened.

And so I think actually this favours Russell keeping the seat.

Yeah, I don't think that troubles him.

I think that's a bother for him.

It's a good problem to have.
