And as much as I want to get away from them, you know, I'm always going to be like sucked back into those.

Yeah, so it's called Shot in Vancouver, and it's a book about film and TV shows shot in BC.

So it covers a lot of the stories about just interesting films and TV shows that were filmed in Vancouver.

So we cover things like, um, uh, you know, everything from like the, the TV shows that started shooting here in the eighties, like 21 Jump Street and MacGyver.

And of course the X-Files, which was sort of the next generation of that all the way up to modern stuff like Deadpool and, um, uh, you know, Midnight Mass and those kinds of TV shows.

And, um,

And then a lot of the weird indie stuff too, which I love.

So it's really a book just about all the weird ways that BC shows up on film.

And it took over a year to write, and the research was a nightmare.

It's just tracking some of these things down.

I mean, a lot of these films, especially the ones from the 70s and 80s,

never really got distributed.

So unless you can find them on YouTube or a Russian pirate site, they don't exist.

And the CBC is very tight with their archives.

So a lot of the things that were made for the CBC, they never cleared the music rights.

So they don't really exist in the public domain either.

So it was a lot, but I'm very happy with the book.
