I do not think what OpenAI has demonstrated in itself means AI got smarter.

It means that their controls are pretty bad and they need to work on that.

However, I still do believe this thing does pose risks to humanity that should be taken seriously.

So I think all of that can coexist.

So I'm not saying

I'm highly confident this thing's going to be 100% pure and not evil, but I'm also not in the camp that we need to stop today, and I'm also not in the camp that OpenAI, what they demonstrated, demonstrates some big AI risk today.

Yeah, you can, yeah.

Well, we're not building killer robots, and I don't think almost anybody is doing that.

We are, however, building robots that can walk inside a building and go to a target instead of destroying an entire building and other buildings around it.

Would you not want that?

I think that's, isn't that a good thing?

That's not what humanity stands for historically.

It's a very cynical view.

I'd be pretty happy because I would look to the stars.

We're a speck of dust in the solar system and even a smaller speck of dust in the galaxy.

I think our life's purpose is to go beyond.

For me personally, that's what it would mean.

That would mean if AI is that competent, I have a spaceship that can take me anywhere.

So I will go anywhere and I will do anything.
