And so I called a couple of them and then I made an appointment with one of them.
I went and I met, went to their office.
I met this very nice nurse.
We talked all about my, you know, medical history and what my goals were.
And, and then, and she explained, you know, like what the options were.
Cause it was like, you know, you could take semaglutide, you could take trisepatide.
Uh, I can try.
So, uh, so semaglutide, uh, you know, was the sort of the first drug out and then they developed this terzepatide and the difference is I don't, I actually don't really know what the difference is.
I do know that they have slightly different side effects.
I know that the terzepatide is, is I think is that bound is the brand name.
They, uh,
I think that it can, you need a little bit less of it.
And, you know, she, and also my doctor, doctor who I have had like check-ins with, like, you know, if the semaglute kind of stops working well, you can always like switch to this, but I've never needed to do that.
So yes, then this very nice nurse, she wrote me a prescription and, you know, you started on a very low dose and, you know, she and I had routine check-ins, typically a phone check-in where it's like every, at the beginning, it's like every week or every couple of weeks, like, how are you feeling?
Do you, have you had any weight loss?
Like what's,
How's your cravings?
Do you have any side effects?
I think the common side effects oftentimes are nausea.
You could have some vomiting.
