It is the single issue that crosses Europe and America and they wanted him to deal with immigration.
So they didn't care about the rest.
They didn't care about the corruption.
They didn't care about the madness.
They wanted him to deal with this single issue.
And I think this is one of the things that governments in Europe are going to have to take on quite seriously.
And as I'm sure has been mentioned on your show before,
The Danes were the one country that did take this seriously.
And as a result, that government has managed to stay in power, albeit a bit precariously in every election that goes by.
But so far, they're still there.

And I think that's one of the big lessons.
And the other thing is on the corruption and all of that, there's a phenomenon in politics and indeed in life called betrayal aversion.
So, you know, do you remember when Tony Blair got elected and it was so exciting and he thought, here we go, there's hope, those nasty Tories are finally out.
And you put so much hope into that.
And then, of course, you had the Iraq war and you feel so let down when that happens that sometimes it becomes easier to vote for the guy that you know is not a savior, that you know isn't a good person, because then you won't get let down and feel betrayed when he turns wrong.
