Okay.
You know, do the wrong thing.
Oh, I have a spiritual life.
I don't need to go to confession or be in a church or whatever it is.
But that has now evolved into people who want to belong without believing.
Even if they don't believe in God and all that goes with it, they recognize that the sense of being part of a religious community can bring a kind of consolation and comfort that's still very, very important to them.
And they might be gradually going on a path
you know, towards belief.
But they recognize that being around other people who have faith is actually good for them.
And, you know, and my faith tends to be one of those, the 3am one, the urge to pray.
What is it?
No atheists in a foxhole one.
When I'm in my rational mind, I go, of course, it's, you know, there can be none of that true.
There is no heaven in that.
But I'm very envious of people who have faith.
So I don't go down the Richard Dawkins line of sneering at people who are religious.
Oh, he's so obnoxious.
And what good does it serve to take away that consolation from people?
But I think that's shifting because now I know lots of stats are showing that younger people in particular have started now church attendance online.
And I was in Washington, D.C.
