barricades, it's got this arch that's going over the White House that is going to be that, that's been nicknamed the claw that's going to be that arena on the South Lawn for the fight that will take place on June 14th, which is President Trump's 80th birthday.
And so you can, like, right now when you look at it, you can see glimpses of the White House, but then all around it, construction workers, barricades, the big, huge arch across it, and then a big sign in the middle saying UFC Freedom 250.

In the UK, we have a... I don't know if UFC is really a big thing, but it's a very bloody sport.
And so, you know, it's an unprecedented sight and it's an unprecedented event.

Well, David, I mean, I can tell you as a journalist being strictly factual, it does not in any way, shape or form compare to the Eiffel Tower.

Look, that is a hugely popular thing across the United States.
This is marking President Trump's 80th birthday.
But as you heard there, there's 4,000 spectators expected to turn out.
There'll be political supporters, allies, administration figures, military personnel.
um but you know yeah with when the people that i was speaking to sort of passing by and and stopping to take a look at it um i would say most were a little bit sort of undecided that you know you one of the men that you heard from there who said this is the people's house he actually looked pretty emotional david when i was talking to him about it the 250th year since america's independence is a huge moment
for americans so supporters say look this is entertainment this is a bit of fun but critics are saying yeah you know it's blurring the line between national commemoration it's a really important year and brand trump of course it's not the most significant thing he's done to the white house he demolished the east wing to make way for um a ballroom yes and trump is ever um the promotional
um entrepreneur he brings that up at every opportunity i mean you've had recent events where um you've seen the white house correspondence dinner for example ended and evacuated because of gunfire
So President Trump is saying, look, this ballroom is needed.
