They generally need, size-wise, a little bit less, but they do sweat quite a lot.
And again, you know, very young babies and very young children can, they're not very good at regulating their body temperature.
So it's one just to really keep them out of direct sunlight.
They will lose water faster.
So, you know, when you see like the baby in the buggy and the sun is right down on them, like put a shade over them, put a bit of a blanket over it because they will lose moisture much faster than we do.
So you're checking that your baby is having, you know, the six good heavy wet nappies in the day.
If they're suddenly the nappies are light, you know, you're thinking, right, we need to get some water into them or just have a look because they can very quickly slip into dehydration.
And that's very good advice.
Again, you're looking for that six to eight glasses of water a day or the tea works really well.
And one of the bigger things as we get a little bit older, our ability to even be thirsty tends to fall down a little bit.
So you will often see people as they get a good bit older.
Sometimes it's harder to even recognize that they might need a drink.
Also, you'd see a lot of people might have issues, kind of bladder issues and things like that.
So they don't want to drink if they're going out and then they don't want to drink if they're going to bed.
So you can really slip into dehydration.
And for older people, that can look very like dementia when you actually just have that really severe dehydration going on.
So, you know, I'd have so many even in family members over the years where you see someone is really confused and you get them into the hospital and they put them on a drip and two hours later, they're actually just back to normal again.
So it is that just keeping an eye that fluid has been taken, just that little bit of encouragement with it.
You know, it depends on, you know, what way the caring is going, but you don't have to go into the bathroom, you know, that kind of way.
You're literally just keeping an eye on it.
