So the preemptive pardons are because Trump said he's going to target people.
I don't think that makes them OK.
I do think it makes them morally different than Donald Trump issuing pardons for people who assaulted cops, broke into the Capitol and tried to overturn an election.
Because what Donald Trump is telling people.
The pernicious, scary thing about Donald Trump pardoning these January 6th insurrectionists is he's saying, if you commit violence in my name, I will forgive you.

And you've got to I just I think that Democrats have got to figure out or that's the pro-democracy coalition in general.
