But there's like, I'm sure I've told you about this before, but I am enduringly obsessed with
the marketing around Tab, which was, I think, the first diet soda.
It was like a cola.
It came out in, I think, the early 60s, mid 60s.
But there's this Tab ad that feels like it was cooked up by Don Draper himself.
that has this, like, haunting jingle that's about how when you're not with him, you're gonna be in his mind.
You're gonna be a mind sticker.
That's the slogan, be a mind sticker.
Because you gotta drink Tab.
You gotta keep your shape in shape with Tab.
Yeah, you got to drink the zero calorie soda to keep your shape and shape.
The shape is that you're having is that you're not having any calories because if you're not a mind sticker, I'll forget about you and he's at work and he'll have sex with someone else, presumably.
Wow.
It doesn't spell it out, but that's the implication.
It's like drink for the love of God.
