They must know better, right?
I mean, I don't think you're interviewing people and bringing them into town based on what Dreger's reporting was if you're not viewing them as a serious candidate.
I think the ones that are less serious are the ones that they've had Zoom discussions with and then it hasn't gone beyond that.
But if you already had, say, a phone call and a Zoom call and then you've already brought somebody in or met with them in person, that shows a level of intent.
So if that's the case with Pierre Dorian, I don't think it's just something we should just dismiss and say, oh, he's not a possibility at all.
Yeah.
No, I mean, he's the one that really came out of left field.

And I think this was the one that would be the biggest surprise, right?
And it wouldn't instill a ton of confidence because people in this market, they haven't had much of an opportunity over the past 10 years to ridicule general managers and other organizations.
But Dorian and his sons was one organization in the GM you could ridicule in Vancouver and laugh about, right?
It's true.
when, when that happens, it's going to, you know, create some uneasiness.
Um, I mean, surprise.
So that's a name that I had been, you know, I had heard was a possibility, especially early in the process, but it's gone so quiet around his side.
Now, does that mean they've had a discussion and it didn't go anywhere?
Does it mean he could be one of those clandestine, um, candidates that nobody's been able to confirm?
And then all of a sudden we hear something is farther along.
I mean, I suppose, uh,
I do know that Bergevin had had a level of discussion with the team some years ago, and I had heard he had impressed the organization to some degree.
