So I can understand the fear that people have that you bring somebody in who's going to screw up the entire process.

That's a real thing.

I mean, as much as we're sitting here and saying these things, there is logic to the idea of if you don't have the right person in place and you draft the right players, and that person spoils the environment so poorly, so badly, that whomever you draft first overall is going to be out on the organization in four years anyways.
