Yeah.
And another rumour, which will lead us on to the first game of the weekend, is Georgia Stanway possibly joining Arsenal at the end of the season?
She announced that this will be her last year at Bayern Munich.
Obviously, she's been there now for a number of years and is looking possibly at heading to London.
So I think Arsenal could have used her in midfield on Sunday or on Saturday.
Yeah, definitely.
And I think we've seen that at the weekend, just with their sort of possession-based football, like she'd fit right in.
You see that with England all the time, just controlling that midfield area for Ciara Walsh usually.
So yeah, I mean, this game, I'm sure you were watching it, a draw with United, a bit of a...
a dull affair and Arsenal obviously had had all the momentum as it's kind of summed up their season so far as you know all the momentum all the possession and just can't seem to put the ball in the net and fall into this choice but I think probably yeah match performance um but Arsenal just you know they keep trying and knocking on the door and United to be fair we've talked about their defensive record just stood proud and went down to 10 men and saw it out
you're getting a player sent off and, you know, for Riviera, I think like Mark and Olivia Smith in the first half, first hour maybe, like it's a hard task.
Like we've seen what she can do, especially with a sort of better side this season.
And then to dive in on that Caitlin Ford challenge and, you know, put your studs up is just ridiculous when you're on a yellow card, like it's just so, so poor.
But I suppose the last half an hour was kind of like, as you said, like
just them sort of dropping off and recognising that Arsenal were the on top team here like we've seen Leah Schuller their new signing come on for the last half hour or so and I think the majority of times I've seen her on the ball was trying to flick the ball on to or like hold it up to get them any sort of you know grasp in the game and to get them up the pitch a bit because the
Arsenal's pressure was a bit relentless and yeah I suppose we're going to see now in the next few weeks where the table will lie because there is that sort of gap between the top five now and the bottom half of the table but even look at City like six points clear like absolutely kind of running away off at this stage it's whether it's a case now of whether they're going to slip or not on that game against Everton you know just classic City just putting it to bed and
meet him on Bonny Shaw when they play together it's just it's just class I think like we missed that I think that goal
yeah like and carolyn like the names just roll off your tongue it's like they've without a doubt the best front line in the entire league and possibly in the europe at the minute like it's just it's frightening when even and it's one of those where you're not relying on bunny shaw because we've seen her slipping and out of form this season and you know be frustrated in games and maybe not get the goals that she's looking for and then you have the likes of carolyn meet him on hemp to all step up and pitch in with goals as well um
And yeah, as you said, it's just a train that I don't know will stop.
Or like Jaggerles, to be fair, has come in and he's done a great job at getting them all on side because it's tough to come into a side that have probably suffered a lot of disappointments in the last few years, even though they've been a mainstay in the WSL and always challenging, to always come so close in so many competitions and to never get over the line.
