What's going on?
I mean, here's the interesting thing with the early church.
Whenever the church faces persecution, historically, it grows.
So the Lord allows persecution to grow the church.
The Apostle Paul, St.
Paul, the most influential Christian ever lived, right?
Apart from Christ.
Look what he was doing.
He was going around murdering Christians and trying to persecute the church.
And the Lord met him while he was on his mission to persecute the church.
He thought he was doing the right thing.
He thought they were a bunch of crazy people.
So he was a religious man trying to bring the true meaning of God.
And on that journey, the Lord met him.
Jesus met him, and he became the Apostle Paul, became St.
Paul.
but it was in the persecution that the Lord chose to grow his church.
And I think we're going to see the same thing here in England, right?
But we need men and women with a bit of backbone who are going to be willing to listen to the voice of God, not listen to the voice of a secular society that will try and put the church in a box.
You see, what society wants to do is put the church in a box and say, you can come out on Sundays, but we don't want to hear from you the rest of the week.
