Well, this is going to sound very controversial, but I don't think Scotland deserve to go through.

And I'll tell you why.

I'm looking at the approach to the three games.

I'm looking at teams like Cape Verde, Haiti, and at least these teams had a go.

We didn't have a go.

We were way too cautious.

Despite what Gordon Dale said, and I agree with most of what he said there about, you know, Champions League winners, Europa League winners and blah, blah, blah, blah.

But we are where we are.

I personally think Scotland have been riding the crest of a wave since they were in that game.

Bought into the hype, thought they were better than they were, and came crashing in with a reality check.

As per usual in all our lives, we've all seen that.

It's a familiar theme.

I think the approach was way too cautious, especially in the first game.

We were lucky to win that.

It was probably the most scuffed goal you'll see in a tournament.

And we are where I thought we would be.

One point, three points, one goal, and probably a goal difference or a yellow card or something ridiculous again for however many times in your life.

But we don't deserve, we'll stink up that 32 if we manage to scrape through.

We don't deserve to get through because of the approach.
