And I, I don't think he bought into this thing when he came here that you're going to a rebuilding team.

I think he thought, you know, he see, he saw what they have and he's like, let's go win.

I mean, I think it's kind of like,

The example I keep giving, I'm not sure if it's a good one or not, is you go to a silent auction, and you have the increments you go up when you're bidding on an item, and then there's that line at the top that says, if you want to buy this item, you can pay this price right now, right?

And that might be what the Sox have to do to extend Murakami, because if he keeps doing this, if he hits 40, 50 home runs this year and does it again next year, we'll just think what his value would be on the open market at the end of this contract.
