So it's become this slogan, basically.

That's kind of... And that's been...

That's why it's ended up this millstone around F1's neck, because they've been beholden to this for half a decade, basically, leading up to it.

But it just doesn't work in reality.

So there is this acceptance that that's the case, and it kind of needs to be softened.

So if you're looking for next year, moving it to a 60-40 split, for example, so...

bulking up what the internal combustion engine can produce, whether you end up actually reducing the MGUK output or you limit it to when and how much you're using 350 kilowatts.

I don't know.

All of these things over the next few months will have to accelerate it and work out what to do.

But

It's coming in some way, I suspect, because even those and those that are doing a good job with it should be rewarded for doing a good job of it.

I mean, it would be a massive shame if you've spent years preparing, you know, for Mercedes, for example.

or Red Bull producing their first ever F1 engine, if you spent a really long time building towards this, getting it right, and you've nailed all the intricacies, and then basically, because it's a bad spectacle, even though everybody kind of knew it would be a bad spectacle, it was all being warned about, it changes quite fundamentally after one season.

That's a poor return on investment, isn't it?

So you'd need to make it worth these manufacturers while actually changing it.

We're going to be busy in Miami because there's ample opportunities for various things off site potentially as well.

I think we need to take stock of exactly how much is going on and whether or not we can give the members a bit of a sneak peek about all the other things that go on around Miami.
