So yesterday was the big day.
The entire Collingwood Football Club packed into the Ponsford stand, honouring a once-in-a-lifetime player.
The living history of the game gathered.
Kevin Bartlett held the game's record.
Michael Tuck inherited it.
Boomer Harvey's held it for a decade.
And on Saturday, it moves into the hands of Scott Pendlebury.
I was really keen to knock it over on the Monday, which allowed all the boys to just have a normal prep for them.
Obviously, the Monday was going to be a bit different.
Just gave a little taste of how big Saturday is going to be.
Traditionally, we've done that on a Thursday.
So, yeah, get that done.
And, yeah, it was really cool.

If I had a dream scenario of how it would be done and handled and stuff like that, it was, yeah, certainly executed yesterday.
