I was immensely lucky that I had a year eight maths teacher who taught us about compounding.

At a time when I really couldn't take it in, but just stuck in my brain.

I was wired for this stuff, but stuck in my brain.

An economics teacher who took us through Um so some of your some of your viewers and listeners, right?

Um there was a time when there wasn't an internet and there was a time when the share prices were in printed newspapers.

And you open the next morning and see what BHB closed at yesterday, right?

So we used that.

And he went through and told us about companies and tickets and PE ratios and dividends and all that sort of stuff.

Franking.

And so those things were foundational for me.

If I fast forward then I had some great career mentors who believed in me immensely.

And that is so incredibly if if you're watching, listening to this and you have the opportunity to be that for someone else, please do that.

Please be someone who others can say believe you believed in them.

Because that's I I wasn't I wasn't bulletproof, I never got arrogant, I hope, touch wood.

But

I I I believed in their belief in me.

And that was really powerful.
