Is that why he downtrod you so much as well on tours?

How quickly after kickoff are you thinking about pack out and get back to the hotel?

Are you starting to think all those steps ahead?

When it's the eve of a big game like that, are you mentally preparing for what the final whistle will be if the result doesn't go your way and how you as the manager, one of the leadership team, has to get around the group to keep things moving?

Talk about charisma and mana.

One of the guys that we've had on recently that cast a shadow like that was Liam Messam, who almost to a man, everyone talks about what a great team man he was.

You had a front row seat again for his character and his characteristics.

What can you tell us about Messam?

Are there some players over that 19, 20 years that stand out as being the ones that held the standards for,

I don't know, better than other people is maybe unfair, but then really lived and applied those standards?

That commercial encroachment is a really interesting one, because on one hand, you have a role with the team to protect the team and ensure the high performance.

And on the other hand, you've got an obligation to the organization to ensure maximum return.

So that push and pull is a real tension.

And are you running point on that as commercial and ops?

And understanding the organisation's perspective, I guess, as well.

What were the emotions like before that last game?

Because you knew that was going to be your last test match.
