Nobody in the world has an airspace like ours because of our airlines, but also general aviation.
A ton of those planes are in the air and the new innovation as well.
And I think, listen, I think our government,
meaning me in government, we owe it to the American people to think through the big problems that we have and try to resolve them to make people's lives better.
And what we're trying to do with air traffic control, again, we're controlling airplanes and we need to update and upgrade a system.
It's not the easiest thing to do.
So what's happened is it should have been done 20 years ago.
But instead, one person passes it to the next, and they say they have a plan, they say they have money, but they actually don't do anything to fix it.
And we find ourselves, I don't know if you recall this, in Newark, we lost communication.
For 45 seconds, we lost air traffic control communication with airplanes.
That's a bad thing, right?
Now, the pilots are well-trained.
Everyone goes into a hole.
They know what to do.
But that happened twice because we didn't have the right connectivity.
We had old lines that weren't working correctly.
So it can become dangerous if you, and again, it's safe now, but if I look out 10 years, it's not gonna be safe.
And so I think we should do what we can to say, hey, I want you to be less delayed.
I want your flight to be faster.
