Um, Benj, though, just has a charisma that you love as a fan.

Wait, can I just say one thing about that?
Yes.
The only thing that was disappointing about that was in in the immediate following inning, he got on base to start off the inning in a tie game and then got picked off of first base.
And it was such a microcosm.
And it was such a micro.
You gotta remember we lost our
Extremely successful first base coach Anton Richardson in the offseason due to some sort of like inability to give him the benefits that he desired um in a contract negotiation.
And then he went it to go to the Braves, who are now like thirty five games over five hundred.
Um and we didn't have a lot of pick off issues last season and Juan Soto stole like thirty five bags.
So yeah, I was gonna say
season after suddenly going 40-30 last year?
Not very many.
Yeah.
I mean in general they've taken a big step back.
Ewing has a ton of speed and so he's aggressive and so he makes mistakes sometimes.
But yeah, the pickoff was maddening because that catch was so electrifying.
Uh yeah.
He he is the the the big villain of the season for me and it's I'm sure he's a good guy and I'm sh you know, he's he's he's really he's played every game, he's kept his head up through this extremely disappointing season.
