You know, call would be kind of an exaggeration.

But tried to broadcast whatever games came on the TV into my little tape recorder.

Begged my dad to listen to it.

And thankfully, he was very encouraging.

So, yeah, I really knew when I was probably five or six years old that this is what I wanted to do.

Oh, I appreciate that.

And if I do, it is from God, and I'm very grateful to Him for all of my blessings.

Because when you're new and you're five or six years old, this is what you want to do, and then you wind up doing it for all these years.

There's an awful lot to be grateful for, and I really am.

I guess, you know, when you're six, obviously your voice is whatever it was.

And, you know, there are some who say, I still haven't hit puberty because every now and then I have these famous or infamous, depending on your perspective, voice cracks, what I call some of these big plays.

So I appreciate you saying that.

I do think it's an important part of it, you know, and that really none of us can control.

I guess you could take voice lessons or you could have speech lessons

classes to get rid of your Boston accent if you had one.

And I never really had much of one, despite the fact that both of my parents did.

So I don't know.

You know, it just comes from age and maturity.
