Hey, guys.

Thanks for having me on.

Yeah, we spoke to Jerome and was really looking at the long term of the club that was there.

And to Jerome's credit, we're really grateful that he has put the team in the club first as we've looked to see what our future lies in our roster.

And so, yeah, Jerome will finish up at the end of the season for us and we wish him all the best.

Well, what had happened over the last few weeks is we have been looking at our roster long term.

What do the next three to five years really look like?

And as you go through that process, every player, every position gets reviewed.

So that process had been underway for a while.

But then, yeah, discussions with Jerome has really been the last 10 days.

And like I said, you know, he was extremely professional.

Him and his management team were really good about where we wanted to go and what we needed to do, and they understood.

No, quite the opposite, actually.

We really love what Jerome's brought to the club and the standards that he's been able to lift.

And there is a saying at the club, you know, that you leave the jersey in a better place than you found it.

And I'm sure he can put his hand on his heart and say that the club is in a better position and probably in some aspects puts us into this mindset of making sure that we are really looking to the long term and really proud of the culture that's here at the club.

Well, I suppose not just Jerome, but overall as a club, we really do want to put a lot of focus into our pathways and the development and the young talent coming through.

And whilst we do have good, great young talent coming through at the moment, ultimately those decisions are football decisions.

So I'll leave that to the football department to comment more specifically on.

But it is that long-term view and the management of the salary cap that becomes important for us to have the ability to attract who we want and also retain who we need to keep.
