It definitely could have got out of hand at some points.
We were able to reel it back in.
Um, but having kids completely just grounded me and, uh, it's what I felt like I'm meant to be.
I've wanted kids since I was in like middle school.
I knew I've wanted kids and a, and a family.
So, uh, it's a, it's a balancing act.
You know, you still have those urges and those cravings to go out there and be the fucking man.
But it's like, I'm every single, like 95% of a year I'm at home with the family.
Like, and those other few percentages is like, I'm traveling for work.
So I rarely, rarely, rarely go out just to go out.
Um,
And I attribute that to just having kids and having a family and needing to just stay locked in.
change that whole process on how you deal with a setback like it definitely makes it easier because those like after the first loss was it felt like the first time I actually lost the first Cheeto fight and I got so much shit for saying I didn't lose that fight I know I'm better than him like he kicked my nerves shit happened mentally I never felt like I lost I never felt like I was ever coming off a loss
Fast forward, I knock out Aljo.
I defend the belt against Cheeto.
Now we're at the Sphere, this huge opportunity, and I fight Marab.
I go out there, and the fight's close.
He gets the win, and a couple days later, I'm having surgery.
So now I'm like, and just having your body go through surgery and recovery, it's a whole thing.
In my mind, I'm like, I'm going to go out there, defend the belt, and I'm going to get surgery.
