A lot of clubs now have a last play.
They call them transition coaches.
Just little wins that you can get, whether it's how you turn to escort or last plays, how you want to chase and IDing where fullbacks are or how wingers defend.
Now clubs don't leave a stone unturned with all that.
It's a guy called Luke Vela.
He's actually an ex-player at the Bulldogs and he actually got an injury.
He's an Aussie schoolboy, I'm pretty sure, and he had an injury and he transitioned to coaching and, yeah, he's doing a wonderful job.
Yeah, and then so had a big field session, do gym.
And then for the Bulldogs, we train two days before we play and then do a captain's run.
So tomorrow's a day off and then we have a big GD too, which is whatever time we play.
That's obviously what time we, yeah, we do that training session.
Yeah, so that's what they'll do.
Maybe not 8 o'clock, they'll maybe make it like 6, 6.30.
So it's a later session just to kind of get used to the conditions.
Yeah, it's something pretty cool that we do and then a short captain's run and yeah, into the game.
How long does that go for?
No, the captain's run now is, you know, some weeks, mate.
You could honestly be on the field for 10 minutes.
Yeah, especially if you train the night before, you know, sometimes they can get quite big.
So what's the purpose of a captain's run?
