So, you know, obviously money obviously plays a vital role in contract negotiations, but also, you know, players are thinking about,

You know, how the style of play that they're playing in, are they suited to that?

What side of the field are they playing on?

Who are they playing with?

You know, they might be from Sydney.

Do they want to be in Sydney?

Or, you know, they want a lifestyle change.

So they want to go to Queensland.

Yeah, you know, there's hundreds of things.

And also, you know, once you start having a family, you know, you start thinking about in the back end of your career, you know, where do you want your kids to grow up?

Or do you have family support?

somewhere more than others.

So there's lots of things that go into it.

It's definitely not just money, but it obviously does definitely play a role.

most important thing is you know a lot of players will have um player managers and i think the most important thing is having player managers who you trust and you actually really you know value their opinion and and then you obviously you know you have your mom and your dad and and your wife and and your kids um you know so they obviously all play a part and you know also you know you definitely bounce some ideas off people that you're close to whether it's you know your best friend or you know an old footy coach or or something like that because you know everyone has different

Well, I think it's not more like are they talking about the money available at just Papua New Guinea, but I think it's more just like when the news broke about that it is tax-free.

Obviously, people are talking about that just in a passing sense.

Trying to understand it as well.

yeah obviously in trying to get your their head heads around that and it's pretty big news you know like just saying that example like tax free money that's you double your salary well yeah and then you've never seen it before like we're in australia everyone pays tax you know so obviously like that's just news in itself so definitely you know it's news around then you start seeing players that that they are signing and now you're talking about all that but they're no different to any other club you know um

Whether it's Parramatta signing Jerome, everyone's talking about it.
