My understanding is that it will be things like air defence, which obviously is going to save lives.

You mentioned things like uniform earlier on to us, but things that essentially just won't kill people.

The big thing for Ukraine is, at the moment, air defence.

You can see it all over Kiev.

Buildings are just pochmarked with burn holes.

We were actually not long returned from a building that was completely devastated.

by a Russian missile attack.

We met families whose lives have also been devastated as a result.

Facing to really touch the Taoiseach, I've got to say, he did take quite a few pauses whilst speaking with those families.

When you look at those buildings and you see the effects of war up front, close and personal, it really does take care back for people in Ukraine getting the support that can help them maybe stop these missile attacks.

It's crucial.

I think when the Irish public realise or see the damage that has been caused to Kiev by Russia's aerial attacks...

I suppose understanding that a lot of that money is going to go towards countering these missiles, these drones and stopping Ukrainian people from facing daily onslaughts, effectively, from Russia.

I don't see why people couldn't support that, really.

It's a lot of money and I'm sure people will point to issues at home.

that they feel should be resolved.

But, you know, Ireland's a very charitable nation.

We support countries all over the world and we stand in solidarity with so many countries.

If anything, it's Ireland showing its best and supporting Ukraine in its time of need.
