I mean, you know, we're not a profitable company yet, but revenue does always help and certainly access in the public markets helps as well.
And it does allow us to really validate the idea of beta bionics because I don't care if we're talking about insulin only or bi-hormonal, they're both designed to do the same thing, which is reduce the burden of living with type 1 and
you know one takes over insulin delivery that's our current product with islet one takes over diabetes management almost entirely um which with biohormonal and that's really the the
beauty of that product and i'll reiterate you know we talked about this earlier obviously we're proud of the outcomes that bi-hormonal is going to we believe is going to produce and what has what it has produced in early clinical trials but it's not really about that right it's about helping you forget the fact that you have type 1 diabetes or i should say diabetes at all eventually
Wow.
That's the keys to the castle right there, isn't it?
You've got a lot of competing priorities.
No question about that.
But what I think is similar across all of those is that companies tend to waste a lot of money and we just refuse to do that.
You know, we want to be good stewards of our investors trust in us, good stewards of their money and make sure that we don't waste waste that trust.
Now, that at times can be, you know, are we thinking about short-term or long-term outcomes, right?
We are making investments today on mint, on bi-hormonal.
Those investments at some level obviously increase the spend of the company today, but they are the right things to be doing.
for both the population of people with diabetes as well as the long-term health of beta bionics, right?
We see a world where we disrupt ourselves, right?
We're not waiting for somebody else to come along and come up with a better product than we have.
We are going to always intend to be the company that supplants the current product that we're selling with our next version or disrupt ourselves.
And to do that, you got to be making investments.
So we think we're making the right investments and we're doing them at a
an efficient level.
