And now on their way out the door, I just wish we could have seen more of that courage when they were confirming that.

And we could have seen some of that courage when they were confirming Hegseth, who shouldn't be anywhere near the Department of Defense, which they now call the Department of War.
What's been striking is his enablers.
And so what we've got to do is hold them accountable.
We've got to put some guardrails on this president.
And he's doing everything he can to prevent us from being able to do that, even to the point of hijacking
A bipartisan housing bill that he had said he was going to sign, he now cast it aside and said, no, what I really need you to do right now is pass the SAVE Act, make it harder for people in the coalition that's going to hold him accountable to vote.
I mean, just think about the irony of that.
Donald Trump said that he would lower people's costs on day one.
And, you know, here we are nearly two years into his presidency.
And inflation is high.
Grocery bills are high.
Utility bills are high.
Health insurance is unaffordable.
We have a real housing affordability crisis in this country.
And the Republicans have nothing to show for what they've done to bring any relief at all.
And here comes this housing bill.
