Like, it's just all nonsense.
And, you know, if I want to know what's going on on a reality TV show, which I don't, then I'll turn on the nightly news.
And I think also it's just become one speed.
I think people are looking for something different.
And this is, of course, the problem.
This is why we're seeing increased clamping down on misinformation and disinformation.
It was never about protecting people.
Well, they will.
And so the next phase of this for people who are watching, are listening and watching, is going to be this digital duty of care.

misinformation bill failed.
In fact, I don't think it ended up getting put on the floor of the Senate because they knew it was going to fail.
Such was the campaign.
It shows people power does work sometimes.
And the idea of that was that there would be the ability, I think, for the safety commissioner to
uh say well that's you know that's misinformation that's that's right that's wrong we'll tell you what they're the ones that get to dictate what information is miss or disinformation that's right so government then and there was a whole it was very very it was bad it was terrible what was this a couple of years ago yeah 18 months or something i'll lose track of time now
Anyway, so of course that didn't work, but the problem still exists.
This podcast still exists.
Carl's podcast still exists.
So the issue is really more about retching back control of the media cycle, the news cycle, so that you can get your message out, but it goes through the media channels.
