that I say would say is the most common.
These are the most common reasons why kids progress is being affected, why we might see them plateau.
And the first one that I'm gonna share with you, I personally think is the most obvious reason for a lack of progress.
The second reason I'm gonna share with you is one that
This reason I think impacts progress.
so much, like more than anything we could possibly
other and more than any other factor this one is going to contribute to lack of progress for the second one.
And the third one I'm gonna share with you is
what I have started to do differently to really change my approach when we have lack of progress that we are seeing.
Like when a child's really start to plateau, this is the thing that I personally think that I look at a little bit differently and then decide on where I'm gonna go from there.
And then we're gonna talk about ways that you can get started as well.
with starting to see more progress.
Okay, that was a mouthful.
So let's talk about the first one.
And I do think that this is the most obvious reason that we might see lack of progress.
And that is that carryover isn't happening.
And for those of you who are therapists, you know that carryover basically means that what you are teaching or what the child is doing in therapy is not something that they were doing outside of the therapeutic session.
So there might be they might be doing so much, so many therapy activities when they're actually in the therapy session, but then those different approaches, tools, strategies aren't being
carried over at home, at school, with other therapists that they're seeing, anything of that nature.
So basically when they're coming into therapy, they're getting all this really amazing therapy.
