Um they've said things like, Well, I feel like I I laugh at people's jokes even though I have no idea wh why it was a joke.

Well, I don't know, but I know I'm supposed to laugh, so I'm gonna laugh.

And so I think that that's something that when you think about anxiety with social differences, you think about it affecting

teenagers for sure, just because of how insecure everyone is as a teenager.

And even adults, like we all have that, you know, fear of certain social situations.

But I think sometimes we don't even think about how much that can affect kids in early ages as well.

Haven't heard that word in a long time.

So just a lot of emotional and sensory overwhelm coming from high cognitive demands, from um tons of different uh situations where there's a lot of pressure being put on our kids, on our students, and just a lot emotionally, because you think about

You know, one thing that happens in my clinic relatively often is parents will come in and they'll say, I don't know if the this is just because they're autistic or if this is just because they're this age of a child, you know, because we know that big emotions are such a big thing for kids at any ages, at any age.

But then we have now say this child is autistic.

So how do we know that this is related to anxiety?

And I was thinking back on this little girl.

And as you were talking, I was thinking about how something that we see so often with anxiety is it just kind of like snowballs and turns into this gigantic monster where

You know, the ch the child is like Chris said, maybe scared of flies and then all of a sudden they don't wanna do this and then all of a sudden they don't wanna do that and then it just gets bigger and bigger.
