So I would just say if that is happening, if you truly feel like you're doing all the right things, you're teaching in a way that they are learning.

Just really sit back and think about is there some kind of barrier that is in their way that you can identify?

Start talking to the parents, start asking questions.

How do you think this would work for you?

Did you try this this week?

Right?

Just start getting curious.

And that is how they are going to learn and that is how you are going to get more information about barriers that could potentially be affecting their ability to carry this out at home.

Anything like out of any of the kids we see, we see a couple hundred kids in our clinic.

We have been open for thirteen years this month.

We have seen thousands of children in our clinic.

And I would say the number one reason.

Why kids might not be making progress?

is that their team is not

All on board with the same approach.

And I say that because this is not uncommon either, which is a child might come into us, they want child led, they want neurodiversity affirming therapy, they want sensory-based therapy.

But then when they are at school or when they are at their daycare, they are getting tons of compliance-based therapies where they are working for century breaks or they are getting

edible reinforcement or they are, you know, being forced to sit for prolonged periods of time and complete tasks.
