And sometimes it's very easy to watch and just think, okay, yeah, I saw you do it.
Now I can do it and realize that it's actually a lot harder oftentimes than we realize.
So getting that practice
I know that not everyone gets in-person time with parents and that's why I would say for families that we don't get to see often, we shoot them videos describing what we're doing.
We send them really, really simple homework.
We tell them exactly what to do, how to be embed it into their routines so that it's not feeling like it's too much for them to do.
Uh but truly I know I said this before, just sometimes we are doing all the right things.
We are providing the coaching, we're providing the education, we're providing the why, we're providing them time to see it in action.
And we just don't have control over that family.
We just can't be there.
making them do something that maybe they're not interested in doing or don't see the value in doing or don't have the time to do and
They could be going through something.
That is completely different.
Like we've had plenty of families who come in and their child isn't sleeping.
Therefore, they're not sleeping.
Therefore, that biological need to sleep is taking precedence over everything else in their life.
And their goal is just trying to work on getting their child to sleep better so that they can sleep better.
Right.
There are so many factors that can contribute to parents potentially not
taking what you are teaching them and then carrying it over at home, even when you're doing all of the right things.
