What I find so uh accessible, honestly, is his starting point or the the starting point for me, which is his critique of Descartes and Descartes' effective

Descartes' metaphysics and his starting point about how we know we exist and what the basic heuristic for how things arise, how things are present for us in the world, and how we come to think of them, in which it gets pushed further back.

And frankly, pretty powerful.

The other thing about the weirdness is that when I'm reflecting on the weirdness, I find myself also trying, you know, remembering the weirdness of Descartes and the weirdness of Plato and the weirdness of all these other folks, where, well, we have we have the mind and we have the body.

And the mind exists as a separate entity from the body, and they're joined somehow, who knows how, that they connect to one another.
