But the repetition of doing is what makes me better.

And that's what led me to like putting myself together, put my shoulders back.

And I applied for that Niska grant.

through long island city artists i first i had to apply to long island city artists i said hey here's what i want to do will you support me in doing it and they were picking just one person from each column and there's like five columns or something like that and they said okay yes get it to us by xyz date and it was pretty quick and i was like okay they picked me up like what do i do now

And Network was a big support.

And my partner, I did make my partner look at that application as well.

But it was, I got it.

Like I got a NISCA grant, like which for people- Those are so hard to get.

And a supported NISCA grant.

I got $10,000.

5% went to the supporting organization.

So I got 9,500 in my pocket to produce and create an exhibition.

I had a space donated.

And here's where Network comes in.

Networkers came from as far as Boston to see my show and spend time with me.

And I was like, when someone shows up for you in that way, it's so moving when they've chosen to move their schedule, make that space and be there and see what you're doing and live in that space.

And in my case, it was a totally immersive installation.

It was like a very meditative space.

It also had

spaces that were interactive.
