Like, what are you trying to cover?

So it's a lot easier to say, say you're going to try to stretch miles out a little bit, right?

It's a lot easier to say, hey, we need to do this for eight starts or whatever the case is, as opposed to we need to do this indefinitely.

Because once you kind of go down that road and it's open-ended a little bit, you can be swayed to maybe going longer than you had planned or putting more on because an alternative might not develop in that timeframe.

And, you know, if you if you if you knew with comfort that you could say July, July one, Shane Bieber is going to be there and he's going to be fine.

Then you're like, OK, let's get through this for this period and then we can shift the workload.

You know, there's always obviously the opportunity to make other additions, other other options could emerge.

things of that nature.

It's just, I think the Blue Jays have had to deal with far more unknowns than they might've expected heading into the year.

And as much as it looked like they had planned for lots of things to go wrong,

I don't know that a lot of teams could have gotten, have planned for as much as the blues have had to already face.

It does, but I would also say this, and

I understand that the Blue Jays have already been doing this or have had to do this.

So, you know, why not just it?

Maybe it doesn't matter.

But if you already have Trey Savage, who isn't a lock to give you five plus, at least right now, while he's in the initial stages of the buildup.

Can you afford to have another rotation spot that's in that similar vein right now?

I mean, no, but they don't have a choice.
