I do think that's why we saw them build out what we what we looked at back then as a surplus of pitching.

But even still, like this is such a cliche, but time and again, you just never have enough pitching.

And I think that is that is the lesson that's shown through thus far.

And I really think this is what the the offense is obviously a prime issue for this team.

But in terms of the number one concern for for the front office, I do think it's how to cover the pitching over the entire year and make sure that you're getting everybody wire to wire.

You know, another dimension to this is that it's also going to be difficult for them to carry him for the entirety of the season in order to fully secure his rights, right?

Because as a Rule 5 guy, if he's not on the big league roster, or at least on big league injured list, then the Blue Jays have to offer him back to the San Francisco Giants from whom they drafted him.

And so there is an asset management piece to this beyond just, you know, how do we use him in in in the moment in terms of just trying to secure him?

And then you're in win now mode.

So you obviously have to do everything that you want to do to win now.

But then you also take a step back and it's like if the Blue Jays do manage to get him wire to wire this year and fully secure his rights,

what is he moving forward for you?

Is he a one inning guy?

And that was a little bit of the vision.

And then during spring training, it evolved a little bit to, can he be a long guy?

And now he's this hybrid thing where he could be so many different things, depending on what you're imagining on him.

And

I do also want to make the point that we're dreaming on him based on three innings against the Angels, right?

Good point.

It's not like he just shut down the Yankees or something like that.
