And he hasn't had an extra base hit since a double on April 28th.

His last homer, you have to go back to April the 20th.

And it just doesn't make sense.

This doesn't compute.

This is Vladimir Guerrero Jr.

And we've seen him be all world.

And he's not all world right now.

And he's not always going to be all world.

But

This is not, this is not him.

And so I didn't, I understood kind of where he was at.

I think when he was hitting like 340, 350 through the first month of the season and it's a ton of, you know, a ton of base hits, but there's that production is there.

He's making things happen.

He's being a big part of things.

There's nothing wrong with that.

And you trust that he's going to get to the power.

But when he loses that part of it, the part where he's still productive, even when he's not at his best, that's where you become a little bit more concerned.

Because again, just to use that same analogy before, somehow you've gone from sitting in maybe third gear and trying to get to fifth, and somehow he's back down to one now.

And so that to me is the most confusing part of this.

And then from a Blue Jays perspective, and we talked about this on Saturday when Addison Barger returned, but it's crazy how much of a difference one player going well can make in a lineup, right?
