You know, there's sort of this adage in baseball, it's not who you're playing, but when you're playing them.
And the Jays definitely caught the Yankees early in the season at a point where they were going through some struggles.
The Jays definitely helped push them deeper into those struggles and some of those issues.
And the Jays were really hot back then, and they're not quite as hot at this point in time.
And again, as we mentioned earlier, they do have some guys in the bullpen who are going through it right now, who are trying to get back to a more stable and consistent footing.
And the Yankees have been hot, and obviously yesterday's game with Houston aside, they've been playing well.
So
Everything for the Jays is going to start with, can you contain their slug?
But it's also not giving anything away so that when they do go deep, it's a solo shot.
It's not a crooked number.
And keeping that pressure on them from the offensive side and forcing them into the type of mistakes that they sometimes make.
A little bit of that, but one thing that struck me, and again, this was also watching late game last night, and you watch a lot of late games everywhere.
This is anecdotal, so I haven't done enough research to dig into this, but I do feel like there are fewer surefire
