I don't have data to support this.
But I just feel like there isn't as much, you know, sixth inning, this game is over type of stuff as we might have had a few years ago.
And so I do think that's an element in the whole late game bullpen thing that we're not necessarily considering.

it's a much more dynamic situation than, you know, we're kind of looking at it and say, Oh, this guy's not performing well or pecking or there's just, there's so many factors that go into it this time of year that, you know, I do think there is a part of that and that is the story of the season.
But I think there's also just surviving the attrition now getting to the post season, getting a little bit of a reset, especially if you get a buy and then figuring things out from there.
I mean, not necessarily with, you know, Jeff Hoffman is your closer, but you're going to see that on certain, I think Monday was the best example of that where it's just, okay, these are the guys we have and everybody else needs to needs a day off.
And so we're going to work with the.
the guys who are available and figure it out from there.
And I think that this time of year, you see more of that just because again, of the usage.
And so I think Hoffman was four and five in terms of what he's pitched.
And so, uh, you know, if he pitches on Friday in New York, then that would be five of seven.
And if he pitches twice in that span, uh, in that three game series, and you're looking at, you know, seven of 10, uh, like that's, uh,
That's a lot, a lot of usage in a short amount of time.
And so does he end up needing a break the week after?
Does he get used less?
Do you do some things in and around that because of that usage?
And it's not just him, it's a lot of others.
