I would like them to actually state from the beginning how safe our data actually is.
Because I walked into, like, my auntie, because she was a nurse, got me to sign up because she's like, it's a good way for you to keep in contact with your GP and stuff without having to ring them.
So I was like, okay, I'll do this.
You're a health professional.
And you walk into these platforms signing up going, yes, I'm going to be protected.
Everything will be fine.
So they surely have to have security measures in place to protect this stuff.
And then to not have that properly in place, I'd like them to actually just be clear about that and just say, look, this is what we have in place.
It does make me question because that...
medical notes are one thing but like sexual history notes is a whole nother can of worms that you don't even want to tell your like friends and family about this so telling a complete stranger who you're about to give like part of your body to essentially because you're giving blood that just opens a whole nother can of worms that makes you not want to trust them especially with all the data breaches in terms of health companies that have happened so I would
I would definitely question it.
Why would I willingly give myself over to someone using AI to then track all the notes and observations that I'm giving them and put it into a system that I don't even know if it's secure?
